Fireside Fridays ~ Bookish Quotes

I love quotes, as I discussed here, and I can’t believe I didn’t think of this topic sooner—book-related quotes. What could be better? Enjoy these, and make sure to tell me your own favorites in the comments!

  1. […] Fireside Fridays ~ Bookish Quotes by Aberdeen – I just discovered Aberdeen’s blog, called A Glimpse of Starlight, and I love it already. This post is simply a collection of short quotes about the value of books and reading, but they are wonderful and inspiring. Check it out to see what Frank Zappa has to say about reading, and how an elevator may or may not threaten stairs in a reading sort of way. […]

  2. Frank Zappa encapsulates my feelings at this stage of life – I’m working hard to get through more books. And I love Stephen Fry’s thought about the Kindle! Thank you for posting these.
