… I do have a link to one that you guys totally need to read instead of one of mine! See, I just spent $35 on two books (recently-published paperbacks are pricey), and as I was wrestling with feeling guilty about it, I re-discovered this post:
I’d never thought about buying books in that way. Like Schuyler, I’ve grown up to be pretty frugal—who needs a new book when you can get it from the library or buy from a used bookstore? But this post brought up some really good points that have inspired me—and freed me—to actually buy new books.
So what do you think? Have you ever looked at buying books this way? What are your struggles or thoughts on buying books? I’d love to chat about this!
Also, I apologize for not getting a real post together for today. I’ve been under the weather and busy with work and preparations for summer activities (a post on that later). However, I have a short story and monthly wrap-up post planned for next week, so stay tuned! Thank you all for your understanding, and have a wonderful weekend.
