The Writer

Hey there! My name is Aberdeen, and I’m so glad you’re here! I’m a poet, dreamer, thinker, bookworm, and collector of quotes. I’m one whom Jesus loves (and so are you). For you personality geeks, I’m an INFJ in the Myers Briggs system and 1w2 in the Enneagram. I am a proud TPSer alum, military kid, and unexpected advocate of quiet gap years. I like to take long walks, listen to music and podcasts, and hang out with my siblings. Unexplained arm pain tossed my after-high-school plans out the window, and I embarked on two gap years. They were hard, but they taught me to throw myself into the wave and embrace the adventure. Now I’m studying at The King’s College in New York City and still floored that this dream came true.

I overanalyze almost everything (or is it actually everything?) and all my blog readers can tell you I’m way too wordy.  In an effort to combat that, I’ll end this introduction here:

I believe in the power of words and the power of love. I believe that the dark can never overcome the light and that this isn’t the end.

This is great! I am glad you liked “Unbroken” as I did too. They are now making a movie of it.
